Basketball Recap: Western Hills Comes Up Short

Western Hills lost against Paul Laurence Dunbar back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Western Hills Wolverines fell just short of the Paul Laurence Dunbar Bulldogs by a score of 67-64. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Western Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 6-18. As for Paul Laurence Dunbar, their record is now 5-21.

Coming up, Western Hills won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Bourbon County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Western Hills knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully Bourbon County likes a good challenge. As for Paul Laurence Dunbar, they and Madison Central will face off at 8:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest, having both just played.
