Baseball Recap: River Valley Comes Up Short

River Valley fell victim to Roseville and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 14-0. That's two games in a row now that the Falcons have lost by exactly 14 runs.

River Valley dropped their record down to 2-11 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Roseville, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. River Valley will venture away from home to take on Yuba City at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The last three games Yuba City has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Roseville, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Roseville Tigers challenge Del Campo Cougars at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
