Basketball Recap: Gallia Academy Takes a Loss

If Gallia Academy was feeling good fresh off their 66-43 takedown of South Point last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Gallia Academy Blue Devils were beaten by the Portsmouth Trojans 55-24 on Monday. The Blue Devils have struggled against the Trojans recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Gallia Academy now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Portsmouth, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.

Gallia Academy and Waverly will round out the year against one another at at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Portsmouth, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Gallia Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
