Baseball Recap: Del Valle Takes a Loss

Del Valle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Dripping Springs Tigers, falling 23-2. The Cardinals were not able to make up for their loss to the Tigers from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Del Valle saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was RAUNEL MARTINEZ, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Del Valle's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13-1. As for Dripping Springs, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

While Del Valle had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
