Basketball Game Preview: Haven Wildcats vs. Halstead Dragons

Haven is 2-8 against Halstead since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Wildcats will be playing in front of their home fans against the Dragons. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Haven sitting on four straight victories and Halstead on 29 (dating back to last season).

It was a proper cat-fight when Haven took on Hoisington on Tuesday. The Wildcats walked away with a 55-44 win over the Cardinals.

Meanwhile, Halstead really took it to Nickerson for the full four quarters, racking up a 64-22 victory. The Dragons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Haven's win bumped their record up to 13-6-1. As for Halstead, their victory bumped their record up to 17-0.
