Grenada's game  last Friday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Monday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Saltillo Tigers  a   3-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  6-0  back in March.
Saltillo's batters probably weren't too happy with  Mary Taylour Wilbourn, who pitched a no hitter  and racked up ten Ks (she gave up two walks).
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Olivia Lashley, who  went 2-for-3 with one  triple, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI.
Grenada has  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record  this season. As for Saltillo,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 8-10-1.
 Coming up, Grenada will challenge Yazoo County at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Saltillo, they will take on South Panola at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. South Panola will roll in looking for their  14th straight  victory, something Saltillo surely won't give up without a fight.
