Marion barely beat Greene County Tech the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Patriots blew past the Golden Eagles 8-2 on Tuesday. Considering the Patriots have won seven matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Marion has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Greene County Tech, their loss dropped their record down to 12-6-1.
