Basketball Recap: Rice Comes Up Short

Rice lost to Scurry-Rosser back in January of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bulldogs were beaten by the Wildcats 57-2. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-0.

Rice's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Scurry-Rosser, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-9.

Coincidentally, Rice and Scurry-Rosser will both be playing Palmer the next time they take the court. The Wildcats will host the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Bulldogs will head out to face them at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
