Independence is 9-1 against Centennial since December of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Independence Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Centennial Cougars at 6:00 p.m. Independence will be strutting in after a win while Centennial will be coming in after a loss.

Last Tuesday, Independence strolled past Ravenwood with points to spare, taking the game 60-46.

Meanwhile, Centennial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat. They took a blow against Page, falling 64-13. The Cougars were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-5.

Centennial's loss dropped their record down to 1-21. As for Independence, the victory got them back to even at 10-10.

Independence took their win against Centennial when the teams last played on January 9th by a conclusive 65-40. Does Independence have another victory up their sleeve, or will Centennial turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
