Hutchinson came tearing into Saturday's match with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the West Pioneers. That's more bragging rights for the Salthawks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Hutchinson took both sets by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-14.

Hutchinson's victory bumped their record up to 15-7. As for West, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-15-1.

Hutchinson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Salina Central on the 4th. As for West, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Great Bend on the 4th.
