Soccer Recap: Oneida Takes a Loss

After soaring to four goals the game before, Oneida was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They came up short against the Gatlinburg-Pittman Highlanders, falling 6-1. The defeat continues a trend for Oneida in their meetings with Gatlinburg-Pittman: they've now lost four in a row.

Oneida's goal came courtesy of Kaiden Krahn, who's now up to six this season.

Oneida now has a losing record of 8-9-2. As for Gatlinburg-Pittman, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-3-3.

Oneida does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Gatlinburg-Pittman, they will square off against Eagleton College & Career Academy on Thursday. Gatlinburg-Pittman will be up against Eagleton College & Career Academy's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.83 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
