Basketball Recap: Mackenzie Stone Key Part of Team Effort in Broncos Win

Burrillville won the last time they faced Hope and things went their way on Friday too. The Burrillville Broncos strolled past the Hope Blue Wave with points to spare, taking the game 43-24.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Burrillville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mackenzie Stone, who posted 13 points and five boards. Those 13 points gave Stone a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Olivia Ferraro, who put up ten points and five rebounds.

The win got Burrillville back to even at 10-10. As for Hope, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-9.

Burrillville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 34-18 victory against Block Island on the 10th. As for Hope, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 59-41 defeat against Prout on the 10th.
