After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Presque Isle, Fort Kent was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Wisdom Pioneers 9-8. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warriors also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Dominic Cyr made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (two). The Tigers will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Pioneers surely won't give up without a fight.
