Soccer Recap: Boulder City Comes Up Short

After flying high against The Meadows School on Friday, Boulder City came back down to earth. The Eagles fell just short of the Equipo Academy Yeti by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The contest was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Boulder City couldn't quite close it out.

Sophia Elburn wasn't going to let Equipo Academy walk away unscathed as she scored both of Boulder City's goals, bringing her season total up to three goals.

Boulder City's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Equipo Academy, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
