Basketball Recap: Lefors Comes Up Short

Lefors was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They were beaten by the Groom Tigers 75-29. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 59-38 back in January.

Lefors' defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Groom, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-11.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Lefors will take on rival Claude at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Groom is set to face off against their familiar foe Shamrock at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
