Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Berkner). They blew past the MacArthur Cardinals 22-7 on Wednesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Rams also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2024.

Maehle Lawerence made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out six batters over six innings while giving up six earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-5 with one RBI.

In other batting news, Berkner let Annabelle Finch and Lily Morgan Williams run wild. Finch got on base in all six of her plate appearances with five RBI, two runs, and one triple, while Morgan Williams went a perfect 5-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those five hits gave Morgan Williams a new career-high.
