Bishop Kelley is a perfect 6-0 against Durant since November of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Comets will host the Lions at 7:00 p.m. Durant took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Bishop Kelley, who comes in off a win.

While Bishop Kelley's victory against Shawnee wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Comets had just enough and edged out the Wolves 30-27. The win continues a trend for the Comets in their matchups with the Wolves: they've now won six in a row.

Meanwhile, Durant fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against McAlester on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They were just a hair shy of victory and fell 22-21 to the Buffaloes. The Lions were up 14-0 in the second quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

Durant's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-5. As for Bishop Kelley, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 4-5.

Bishop Kelley strolled past Durant when the teams last played back in November of 2024 by a score of 29-14. Will the Comets repeat their success, or do the Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
