Volleyball Recap: Tabernacle Christian Takes a Loss

If Tabernacle Christian was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Columbus Christian on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles lost 3-0 to the Lighthouse Christian Academy Lions on Thursday. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-8, 25-20.

Among those leading the charge was Miriam Gilbert, who had 15 digs.

Tabernacle Christian's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Lighthouse Christian Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season.

Tabernacle Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Calvary Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lighthouse Christian Academy, they will square off against Shakamak at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
