Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hilliard Davidson). They came out on top against the Dublin Coffman Shamrocks by a score of 13-10 on Wednesday. With that win, the Wildcats brought their scoring average up to 6.6 runs per game.

Hilliard Davidson got a massive performance out of Johnny DiBlasio, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That home run was DiBlasio's first of the season. Roman Himes was another key player, going 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one double.

Hilliard Davidson kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in three consecutive matches.

The victory got Hilliard Davidson back to even at 4-4. As for Dublin Coffman, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season.

Hilliard Davidson is taking a road trip to square off against Olentangy at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. The Braves' pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so the Wildcats' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Dublin Coffman, they will host Dublin Scioto at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
