Basketball Recap: Fletcher Academy Comes Up Short

Fletcher Academy was the 66-55 winner over Commission Leadership Academy when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Falcons fell 62-50 to the Griffins on Thursday. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Commission Leadership Academy can attribute much of their success to Charlie Hooks, who posted 21 points. Hooks continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Garin Holst, who had 13 points.

Fletcher Academy now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Commission Leadership Academy, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

Fletcher Academy will take on LifeSpring Academy in a holiday battle at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Commission Leadership Academy and Star Christian Academy will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
