On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Karlee Broadway, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played. Mallory Moore was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Walnut Ridge's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Hoxie, their victory bumped their record up to 7-5.
