While Box Elder's win against Roy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bees won by a set and slipped past the Royals 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bees have posted since August 23rd.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Box Elder got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 22-25, 25-12, 12-25, 15-11.

The win made it two in a row for Box Elder and bumps their season record up to 14-10. As for Roy, they dropped their record down to 10-8 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Box Elder is set to challenge their familiar foe Clearfield at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Roy will square off against rival Bonneville at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
