Soccer Recap: Minarets Starts Season with Loss at Home

Minarets unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Orange Cove Titans on Thursday, falling 6-0. Minarets have struggled against Orange Cove recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

The victory got Orange Cove back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Minarets will take on Firebaugh at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Orange Cove, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Sanger West at 6:00 p.m. on December 2.
