Soccer Recap: Caroline Triumphs

Caroline was handed a seven-goal loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Thomas Jefferson Vikings. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Caroline also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2019.

They hit Thomas Jefferson with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Bryan Victoriano, Iker Cruz, and Pablo Calvo.

Caroline's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Thomas Jefferson, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Caroline and Thomas Jefferson will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time Caroline sees the pitch they'll take on James Monroe at 7:00 p.m. on April 8. As for Thomas Jefferson, their break will end when they face King & Queen Central at 6:00 p.m. on April 7.
