Softball Recap: Western Christian Has No Trouble Against Northview

Western Christian saw some tournament action on Friday. Everything went their way against the Northview Vikings as the Western Christian Fighting Lancers made off with a 10-3 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Fighting Lancers.

Giada Partida and Cassandra Serna did most of the damage at the plate: Partida went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI, while Serna went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Alina Antillon, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI and one triple.

Western Christian's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Northview, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1-1.

Western Christian didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 9-7 loss against Riverside Prep on the 22nd. As for Northview, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 8-2 defeat against Los Osos on the 22nd.
