Football Recap: Joliet Skates Past Roundup with Ease + How To Watch

Joliet had to skate by with only a two-point margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 35-point drubbing they dealt Roundup on Friday. The J Hawks simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Panthers 47-12. The J Hawks haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Jake Cook had another great game (as he tends to do), throwing for 227 yards and five TDs while completing 75% of his passes, and also punching in one score on the ground. Those 227 passing yards gave him a new career-high. Gavin Thompson was another key player, gaining 92 total yards.

Joliet didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Porter Koerper and Kasen Krook.

Joliet's record is now 4-0. As for Roundup, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.
