Melba proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by three) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Lakeland Hawks 3-2. The win was nothing new for the Mustangs as they're now sitting on four straight.

Melba's victory bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Lakeland, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Melba didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Kimberly on the 3rd. As for Lakeland, they will take on Bonneville in a tournament on Saturday. The Hawks are facing the Bees at the right time seeing as the Bees are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
