Basketball Game Preview: Ludlow Panthers vs. Holmes Bulldogs

The Ludlow Panthers will face off against the Holmes Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Friday, Ludlow ended up a good deal behind Owen County and lost 77-59.

Meanwhile, Holmes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 64-59 heartbreaker at the hands of Nicholas County.

Holmes' loss dropped their record down to 13-13. As for Ludlow, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 14-12 record this season.

Ludlow was able to grind out a solid victory over Holmes in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, winning 70-59. Does Ludlow have another victory up their sleeve, or will Holmes turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
