Baseball Recap: Loris Lions vs. Dillon Wildcats
Loris won the last time they faced Dillon and things went their way on Friday too. Loris put the hurt on Dillon with a sharp 11-1 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.
Hayden Day and Aiden Suggs made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Day pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Suggs struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and not a single walk). He is becoming a predictor of Loris' success: when he allows at most two earned runs the team is 5-1 (and 2-3 when he doesn't).
