After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Glenwood, North County was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They slipped by the DeSoto Dragons 14-13. The victory continues a trend for the Raiders in their matchups with the Dragons: they've now won nine in a row.

North County's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for DeSoto, they now also have a losing record of 1-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. North County will challenge rival Hillsboro at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, DeSoto is set to face off against their familiar foe Festus at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
