Carvonta Roper Game Report: @ Ludlow

For the first time in his career, Carvonta Roper scored a rushing touchdown on Friday. He rushed for 22 yards and two TDs as Newport took down Ludlow 47-7. We think that's the best game he's posted since September 20th, 2024, when he made four total tackles (1.0 for loss) and snagged an interception.

Coming up, Roper and Newport will square off against Lloyd Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats closed last season having dominated at home and they will enter the contest having won three straight home games dating back to last season.
