Baseball Recap: East Rockingham Extends Winning Streak to Three

East Rockingham put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Luray Bulldogs by a score of 7-3. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 9-2 last Thursday.

Ryan Wright looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Those two hits allowed gave him a new career-low.

At the plate, Kayden Gibson was incredible, scoring two runs while going 3-for-3. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Alex Jenkins was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3.

East Rockingham's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Luray, the loss was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 3-2.

East Rockingham will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Spotswood at 6:00 p.m. on April 15. As for Luray, they will challenge Buffalo Gap at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
