Volleyball Recap: Mount Calvary Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Mount Calvary Christian Academy lost against Ahoskie Christian on September 9th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Warriors fell just short of Ahoskie Christian by a score of 3-2.

Mount Calvary Christian Academy took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 25-17, 22-25, 23-25, 25-13, 15-13.

Mount Calvary Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Ahoskie Christian, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-7.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Mount Calvary Christian Academy will take on rival Unity Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Ahoskie Christian is set to square off against their familiar foe Fellowship Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
