Baseball Recap: Atlantic Comes Up Short

Atlantic fell victim to Lewis Central and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 6-0 to the Titans. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Trojans have suffered since June 3, 2024.

Atlantic's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Lewis Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Atlantic will face off against rival Creston at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Someone's luck will take a turn for the better: the Trojans have lost 13 straight at home (dating back to last season), while the Panthers have lost four on the road. Meanwhile, Lewis Central is set to challenge their familiar foe Denison-Schleswig at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
