Baseball Recap: Rodriguez Finds Home Field Redemption Against Mountain View

There's no place like home for Rodriguez, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 12-1 margin over the Mountain View Spartans on Saturday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Mustangs needed considering they were shutout in their previous contest.

Nick Schikore looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only a hit over four innings pitched.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Drew Beasley, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in hits (three). Another player making a difference was Chase Ryan, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1.
