Basketball Recap: Fairfax Takes a Loss

If Fairfax was feeling good fresh off their 58-26 takedown of University last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Fairfax Lions fell just short of the Palisades Dolphins by a score of 54-51 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Lions have suffered since January 19, 2024.

Fairfax's defeat dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Palisades, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-8.

Fairfax will host Westchester at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Westchester's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last nine contests. As for Palisades, they will venture away from home to face off against Hamilton at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
