Basketball Recap: Huron Comes Up Short

Huron was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 66-57 to the Airport Jets. The Chiefs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Jets apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Huron's loss dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Airport, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Huron will take on Milan at 7:00 p.m. on January 23rd. As for Airport, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Roosevelt at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Airport's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five games.
