Volleyball Game Preview: Flat Rock Rams vs. Stevenson Spartans

The Flat Rock Rams will head out on the road to face off against the Stevenson Spartans at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Stevenson took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Flat Rock, who comes in off a win.

Flat Rock will bounce into Tuesday's match after beating St. Mary Catholic Central, who they had gone 1-7-1 against in their nine prior meetings. The Rams skirted past the Falcons/Kestrels 1-0.

Meanwhile, Stevenson came up short against Northville on Tuesday and fell 3-1.

While Stevenson had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 14-25, 25-22, 25-18.

Stevenson has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-17 record this season. As for Flat Rock, they pushed their record up to 20-6-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Flat Rock couldn't quite get it done against Stevenson when the teams last played back in October of 2019 as they fell 2-0. Can the Rams avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
