Basketball Recap: Fall Mountain Comes Up Short

Fall Mountain was the 75-55 winner over Newport when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Fall Mountain Wildcats took a 62-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Newport Tigers on Tuesday.

Fall Mountain's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Newport, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Fall Mountain Wildcats face off against the Kearsarge Cougars at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Newport, they will head out to take on Stevens at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
