Baseball Recap: Miramonte Takes a Loss

Miramonte was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Campolindo Cougars. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Matadors of the 9-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Miramonte's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Campolindo, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Miramonte will host Acalanes at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Miramonte 2.8, Acalanes 3) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Campolindo, they will welcome Amador Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
