 The Marquette Manor Baptist Academy Minutemen's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Friday after their third straight  loss. They were beaten by Tabernacle Christian 74-27. Marquette Manor Baptist Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  47-11.
 When it comes to explaining why Marquette Manor Baptist Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is  Emma Scalzitti. Despite the final result, she  scored 12 points. Scalzitti is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for three games straight.
 Tabernacle Christian was led to victory by  Annie Sichting and  Liz Southerland.  Sichting  dropped  a triple-double on 21 points, 19  assists, and 14  steals, while  Southerland  dropped  a triple-double on 31 points, 12  rebounds, and ten  steals. That makes it eight consecutive games in which  Southerland has scored at least a third of Tabernacle Christian's points.  Mariah McClure was another key contributor,  scoring eight points.
 Marquette Manor Baptist Academy has  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost four of their last five games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for Tabernacle Christian, the  victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 13-2.
 Marquette Manor Baptist Academy won't have much time to rest: their next  contest is against the  at 9:00  a.m.  on February 3rd. As for Tabernacle Christian, they and the Crusaders will face off  at 12:00  p.m.  on February 3rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Maranatha Baptist is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
