Softball Recap: Lake Dallas Takes a Loss

After soaring to 17 runs the game before, Lake Dallas was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They fell 5-2 to the Aubrey Chaparrals. The Falcons haven't had much luck with the Chaparrals recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Andrea Montes was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.

Lake Dallas' loss dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Aubrey, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 18-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Aubrey beat Lake Dallas by a score of 12-1 on Friday.
