Ashville entered their tilt with West End on Tuesday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Patriots. The Bulldogs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Patriots, too.

Ashville easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-15.

Among those leading the charge was Evelyn Dole, who had nine digs and one assist.

Ashville's victory bumped their record up to 19-2. As for West End, they dropped their record down to 3-4 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Coincidentally, Ashville and West End will both be playing Pisgah the next time they take the court. The Bulldogs will head out to face the Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Patriots will play them later in the day, at 6:30 p.m.
