Lincoln-Way East extended their postseason success on Thursday against Andrew. They came out on top against the Thunderbolts by a score of 2-0. The victory was nothing new for the Griffins as they're now sitting on four straight.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-16.
Matthew Muehlnickel paced Lincoln-Way East's offense, picking up nine kills. Muehlnickel got some help from Will Hubatch and his 12 assists.
Lincoln-Way East pushed their record up to 31-6 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Andrew, their loss dropped their record down to 15-23.
Looking ahead, Lincoln-Way East will challenge Lincoln-Way Central at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Andrew does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
