Volleyball Recap: Somerset Sky Pointe Extends Winning Streak to Four

Somerset Sky Pointe came tearing into Tuesday's game with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Rancho Rams 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on April 10th.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Somerset Sky Pointe was: they took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-10, 25-12.

Dyson Twitchell paced Somerset Sky Pointe's offense, picking up 19 kills. Twitchell got some help from Gage Poulsen and his 31 assists. Twitchell also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Noah Bolton, racking up four apiece.

Somerset Sky Pointe's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-8. As for Rancho, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13.

After both having extra time off, Somerset Sky Pointe and Spring Valley will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Rancho has already played their next contest (against Silverado), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
