Softball Recap: Bishop McCort Comes Up Short

Bishop McCort lost against Central back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Crushers fell just short of the Dragons by a score of 5-4. The Crushers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bishop McCort saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Olivia Urban, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Bishop McCort now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Central, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Bishop McCort is set to take on their familiar foe Central Cambria at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Central will challenge rival Hollidaysburg at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
