Volleyball Recap: Monroe Comes Up Short

Monroe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Beloit Memorial Purple Knights.

Monroe's defeat dropped their record down to 6-20. As for Beloit Memorial, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-19.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Monroe will square off against Jefferson at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Beloit Memorial, they will challenge Waterford at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
