Softball Recap: Lake George Lakers vs. Fort Edward Flying Forts
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Granville, Lake George was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Fort Edward Flying Forts by a score of 9-4. The Lakers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Mollie Johnson was excellent, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with two runs and one RBI. That RBI marked the first that she has brought in this season. Another player making a difference was Hailey Mackrodt, who went 1-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.
