Soccer Game Preview: Medford vs. Everett

The Medford Mustangs are taking a road trip to square off against the Everett Crimson Tide at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Medford's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Medford fell victim to Chelsea and their airtight defense on Thursday. They fell just short of the Red Devils by a score of 1-0. That's two games in a row now that Medford have lost by just one goal.

Meanwhile, neither Everett nor Somerville could gain the upper hand on Friday so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

Medford's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. Everett's draw gives them a new season record of 3-5-4.

Medford couldn't quite get it done against Everett in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Mustangs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
