Volleyball Recap: Sandhills Valley Comes Up Short

Sandhills Valley lost against Brady back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Mavericks took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. The Mavericks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Isabella Waker paced Sandhills Valley's offense, picking up eight kills. Waker got some help from Ellexis Hagan and her 15 assists. Finally, Waker was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

Brady can attribute much of their success to Hallie Johnson, who had ten digs and three aces.

Sandhills Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Brady, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-6.

Sandhills Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against South Loup on the 18th. As for Brady, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Mullen on the 18th.
